MINSK. Oct 7 (Interfax) - Units of the Belarusian Armed Forces will take part in the Combat Brotherhood 2019 joint strategic exercise, the Belarusian Defense Ministry said on Monday.
"Special and joint drills, which will be joined by units of the Belarusian Armed Forces, will be held as part of this exercise," the Defense Ministry said.
The drills will be held on October 8-29 in line with this year's schedule of joint training of the bodies of command and large units of forces and equipment of the Collective Security System of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).
The operational group of the headquarters of supply units and weaponry will take part in the Eshelon 2019 special exercise involving logistic supply forces and equipment at the Mulino training range in the Nizhny Novgorod Region in Russia on October 8-10, 2019.
The Defense Ministry's operational group, a unit of the 103rd separate guard airborne brigade of special operation forces, as well as an unmanned aerial vehicle unit of the 927th center for the training and the UAV use will participate in the Interaction 2019 joint drills with the CSTO Collective Rapid Response Forces at the same training range on October 16-18, 2019.
Intelligence units will take part in the Search 2019 special exercise involving the intelligence forces and equipment of the CSTO member states in Belarus on October 14-18.
The peacekeeping company of the 103rd separate guard airborne brigade of the Belarusian Armed Forces will participate in the Unbreakable Brotherhood 2019 joint drills involving the CSTO collective peacekeeping forces at the Lyaur training range in Tajikistan on October 26-29, 2019.
