NUR-SULTAN. Oct 9 (Interfax) - Russia will do everything it can to help establish dialogue between Damascus and Syrian Kurds, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said at a press conference in the Kazakh capital on Wednesday in response to Interfax's question.
"Yesterday, we heard statements made by Damascus officials and Kurdish representatives who reaffirmed their readiness for dialogue. We will try to do our best in order to assist in launching a substantive conversation and hope it will gain the support of every major foreign actor," Lavrov said.
Such a dialogue is the only way to achieve lasting stability, he said.
