BAKU. Oct 14 (Interfax) - Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Baku on Monday, the Azerbaijani presidential office said in a statement on its website.
Erdogan has arrived in Azerbaijan to take part in a summit of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-Speaking States (Turkic Council) to be held in Baku on Tuesday.
The Turkic Council members are Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, and Uzbekistan. Hungary holds observer status in the organization.
