KYIV/LUHANSK. Oct 15 (Interfax) -The Ukrainian Armed Forces launched one attack on the territory of the self-proclaimed Luhansk People's Republic (LPR) on Monday, October 14, the LPR mission to the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC) said in a statement on Tuesday.
"One attack mounted by Ukrainian armed units was observed on October 14," the statement said.
The Ukrainian military used an anti-tank grenade launcher and a large-caliber machinegun in the attack, targeting Lohvynove, it said.
"Reports on civilian casualties and destruction are being verified," the statement said
The press center of the headquarters of Kyiv's Joint Forces Operation (JFO) in Donbas, for its part, said on its Facebook page that the militia committed 21 truce violations in Donbas over the course of the past day, wounding one Ukrainian soldier.
"The enemy launched 11 attacks in the area of responsibility of the Vostok [East] tactical operations group: grenade launchers of different systems and large-caliber machineguns were used three times in the vicinity of Novotroitske; a 120mm mortar and anti-tank grenade launchers were fired near Vodyane and Lebedynske; anti-tank grenade launchers and large-caliber machineguns were fired twice near Novohnativka; BMP-1 infantry fighting vehicle weapons, automatic grenade launchers and small arms were used near Vodyane; and grenade launchers of different systems and small arms were used in the vicinity of Pyshchevyk, Lebedynske, and Opytne," it said.
The JFO press center said that 10 militia attacks were observed in the area of responsibility of the Sever (North) tactical operations group near Novoluhanske, Luhanske, Zolote, Krymske, and the village of Vilne.
