MOSCOW. Oct 15 (Interfax) - The Syrian army has taken control of 1,030 square kilometers of territory in and around the city of Manbij, according to a map published by the Russian Defense Ministry on Tuesday.
According to the map, the Syrian army is now controlling the bank of the Euphrates River east of Manbij in this area.
