KYIV. Oct 15 (Interfax-Ukraine) - The Ukrainian side at a meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) in Minsk again pointed out the priority of the implementation of the security component of Minsk security agreements, as well as the implementation of the political component of issues when implementing a number of conditions.
"The implementation of the component of security issues of the Minsk agreements is a key thing for bringing peace to Donbas," press secretary of the second President of Ukraine, representative of Ukraine in the TCG Leonid Kuchma, Darka Olifer, wrote on her Facebook page following a meeting of the TCG in Minsk on Tuesday.
In addition, the Ukrainian side emphasized that the implementation of the political block of issues of the Minsk agreements is possible only if a number of provisions are fulfilled: dissolution of the LPR/DPR quasi groups, complete ceasefire; ensuring effective monitoring of the OSCE SMM throughout Ukraine; withdrawal from the territory of Ukraine of armed groups of foreign troops and military equipment; withdrawal of forces and means along the entire contact line; ensuring the work of the Central Election Commission of Ukraine, Ukrainian political parties, the media and foreign observers; the establishment of control over a section of the Ukrainian-Russian border currently not controlled by Ukraine and the implementation of other provisions provided for by Ukrainian and international legislation and the Minsk agreements.
In turn, the humanitarian subgroup is working to free the detainees. And in the subgroup on socio-economic issues, the Ukrainian side again raised the issue of refusal of the ruble zone in the ORDLO and return of Ukrainian state and private property, including the resumption of taxes to the Ukrainian state budget in strict accordance with Ukrainian legislation.
