KHABAROVSK. Oct 16 (Interfax) - S-400 and S-300 air defense missile systems and Pantsir air defense missile and artillery systems of Russia's Eastern military District have been put on alert in the Khabarovsk Territory as part of the final inspection, the district's press service said on Wednesday.
"Over 1,500 servicemen, about 150 pieces of hardware, and about 10 aircraft are engaged in the inspection," the press service said in a statement.
Servicemen will drill organizing the system of commanding battalions, disguising, and entering combat duty, it said.
The inspection will end with a tactical exercise involving electronic launches, it said.
"The servicemen will be searching for, detecting, tracking, and identifying the 'enemy's' aerial targets of varying complexity. Several Kamov Ka-52 attack helicopters, Sukhoi Su-34 ground attack aircraft, Su-35S fighters, and Orlan-10 drones will act as the 'enemy'," the statement said.
