MOSCOW. Oct 17 (Interfax) - The Russian Foreign Ministry confirmed that American diplomats have notified the Russian Defense Ministry of their scheduled trip, but they said that they wanted to visit Arkhangelsk, but not Severodvinsk.
"We completely confirm the U.S. embassy's position, that this was an official travel and that they have notified the Russian Defense Ministry of their plans. However, they said they wanted to visit Arkhangelsk, but they were found to travel on a Nyonoksa-Severodvinsk train in the end. They have probably lost their way," the Russian Foreign Ministry told Interfax.
"We are ready to present a map of the Russian Federation to the U.S. embassy," the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
