Russian emergencies ministry sends relief to Donbas

MOSCOW. Oct 17 (Interfax) -The Russian Emergency Situations Ministry is delivering the 87th consignment of humanitarian aid to the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, a ministry spokesperson told Interfax.

"Trucks of the 87th humanitarian aid convoy of the Emergency Situations Ministry of Russia are on their way to the Russian-Ukrainian border, where the convoy will split in two. [...] The first group of trucks will then head to Donetsk and the other group to Luhansk," the spokesperson said.

More than 630 tonnes of relief supplies, including food kits for children, are being delivered to Donbas, the spokesperson said.
