SOCHI. Oct 23 (Interfax) - Russia does not look at the position of the United States on Syria, as it is rather volatile and contradictory, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.
"We do not look at the U.S. and its position. Well, first of all, this position is rather volatile and contradictory, and secondly, of course the coalition led by the U.S. stays in the Syrian territory illegally, and this is a well-known fact. I hope that some sprouts of understanding among some members of the coalition on the need to change this policy and interact with the Syrian government will make their way," Lavrov told journalists in Sochi.
