MOSCOW. Oct 23 (Interfax) - Russia has delivered a batch of Sukhoi Su-30K fighters to Angola, according to head of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSMTC) Dmitry Shugayev.
"Our fighters, Su-30K, have been supplied," Shugayev said in an interview with the television channel Rossiya 24 (VGTRK) ahead of the Russia-Africa forum in Sochi.
Contracts for repairs of Mil Mi-17 and Mi-24 helicopters were signed with Angola at the recent MAKS aerospace show in Zhukovsky, Moscow region, he said.
"Angola is a traditional partner. The country has been operating plenty of our hardware since the Soviet era," Shugayev said.
