Russian emergencies ministry sends relief to Donbas

MOSCOW. Oct 24 (Interfax) -The Russian Emergency Situations Ministry is delivering the 88th batch of humanitarian aid to the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, the ministry's press service told Interfax on Thursday.

"The trucks of the 88th humanitarian aid convoy of the Emergency Situations Ministry of Russia are on their way toward the Russian-Ukrainian border, where the convoy will split in two. [...] The first group will then head to Donetsk and the other group to Luhansk," the press service said.

Around 600 tonnes of relief supplies, including medicine and food kits for children, will be delivered to Donbas.
