MOSCOW. Oct 24 (Interfax) - Lawyer Anatoly Kucherena, who represents former CIA officer Edward Snowden, says the Russian authorities have no reason to deny extension of Snowden's residence permit.
"As for his fears about the residence permit, I spoke with him a few days ago and I should say that that the Russian authorities have no reason to deny extension of his residence permit. He is a law-abiding person who respects and does not violate Russian laws," Kucherena told Interfax regarding Snowden's remarks to the media about the future of his stay in Russia.
