YEREVAN. Oct 24 (Interfax) - The Syria agreements reached by Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Sochi are relevant to the security of Armenians in Syria, and Armenia will follow developments in Syria and will continue its humanitarian mission in this country, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan wrote on Facebook on Thursday.
"The agreements that were reached on the Syria issue in Sochi also deal with the issues that I discussed with President of Russia Vladimir Putin. These issues are linked with the security of Armenians in Syria. This fact once again highlights the strategic nature of Armenian-Russian relations. We continue following the situation in Syria and intend to carry on with our humanitarian mission in this country," he said.
