KYIV. Oct 24 (Interfax) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has no intention of dismissing Foreign Minister Vadym Prystaiko; any such reports are baseless rumors, presidential press secretary Yulia Mendel said.
"Reports about the possible dismissal of Vadym Prystaiko are baseless rumors. Vadym Prystaiko has been performing his duties as foreign minister productively and professionally. His diplomatic experience, expertise, and connections are extremely important for Ukraine on the international stage," Mendel told Interfax, commenting on media reports which claimed that the Presidential Office had already written a request for Prystaiko's dismissal to be sent to parliament in the coming days.
