SOCHI. Oct 25 (Interfax) - The Russian-Turkish agreements on Syria meet European countries' interests, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.
"This too should, in theory, meet the interests of the Europeans, because the border is being protected from the infiltration of terrorists, the security of the Republic of Turkey is being ensured, and we thus are preventing the flows of refugees who may travel toward Europe afterward. Therefore, Europe can and should be quite satisfied," Peskov told reporters.
"This is joint work," he said when asked whose initiatives there are more of in the Russian-Turkish memorandum: those of Moscow or those of Ankara.
