Russia, Guinea agreed to boost military cooperation - Russian Defense Ministry

MOSCOW. Oct 24 (Interfax) - Russian Deputy Defense Minister Alexander Fomin and Minister of State for Presidential Affairs and National Defense of the Republic of Guinea Mohamed Diane discussed military education and medicine on the sidelines of the Russia-Africa Summit in Sochi on Thursday.

"Fomin and Diane thoroughly discussed military education, military medicine, and Guinean representatives' involvement in international events held under the auspices of the Russian Defense Ministry. They also agreed to enhance bilateral cooperation," the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement received by Interfax on Thursday.

"These kinds of contacts, which have already become regular following the signing of the agreement between the Russian and Guinean governments, have gained particular relevance," the statement said.
