NEW YORK (UN). Oct 25 (Interfax) - The $4.5 million allocated by U.S. President Donald Trump in support of the White Helmets organization could have been used to far better purposes in Syria, Russian Permanent Representative to the United Nations Vasily Nebenzya said.
"It is the wrong application of money which could have been used to far better and more practical purposes in Syria," Nebenzya told Russian reporters at the UN Headquarters when commenting on Trump's approval on October 22 of $4.5 million in financial aid to the White Helmets organization, which works in Syria.
