OMSK. Oct 25 (Interfax) - Law enforcement agencies prevented four terrorist crimes in the Siberian Federal District in 2019, according to Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev.
"Four terrorist crimes were prevented as a result of coordinated work of security services, law enforcement agencies, and anti-terrorist [centers]," Patrushev said at a meeting with heads of regions of the Siberian Federal District.
The measures "have improved the process of sites' categorization. As of now, 96% of critical infrastructure elements and 90% of public areas have been categorized in the district," Patrushev said.
