Four NATO ships arrive in Ukraine's Odesa on one-week visit

KYIV. Oct 29 (Interfax) - Minesweepers from four NATO countries - Spain's ESPS Sella, Romania's Ros Lupu Dinescu, Bulgaria's BGS Shkval, and Italy's ITS Numana - docked at the Odesa sea port in Ukraine on Tuesday, the press service of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry said.

"These ships patrol the Mediterranean Sea within NATO's Standing Mine Counter Measures Group Two. They have arrived in Odesa on a one-week friendly visit," it said.

A NATO delegation led by the alliance's Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, who is due to arrive in Odesa on October 30 as the first stop on his Ukraine tour, will visit the ships.
