DONETSK. Oct 31 (Interfax) - The self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) is ready to disengage forces and hardware in Petrivske, the head of the DPR mission to the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC), Ruslan Yakubov, told Interfax.
"The DPR militia confirmed its intention to fix violations in the area of previous disengagement near Petrivske back on October 7. It launched white flares for three days, starting on October 9, to demonstrate its preparedness," Yakubov said.
He said Kyiv was to blame for the delay in the process.
"The DPR militia is ready to resume the fulfillment of obligations as soon as the Ukrainian side confirms its intention to do everything prescribed by the Contact Group for this area," Yakubov said.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has declared November 4 as the date for disengagement in Petrivske.
