LPR reports three attacks by Ukrainian army in past day

LUHANSK/KYIV. Nov 1 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian Armed Forces launched three attacks on the territory of the self-proclaimed Luhansk People's Republic (LPR) in the past day, the LPR mission to the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC) told Interfax.

"Three attacks mounted by Ukrainian armed units were recorded on October 31, 2019," it said.

Districts of Frunze and Lohvynove were targeted in those attacks, in which the Ukrainian Armed Forces used 120mm and 82mm mortars, anti-tank grenade launchers, infantry fighting vehicle weapons, and large-caliber machineguns, the LPR mission said.

For its part, the press center of Kyiv's Joint Forces Operation (JFO) reported 15 truce violations committed by the militia in the past day.

"One serviceman of the Joint Forces was wounded and another one sustained a combat injury," it said.

The militia attacks targeted positions of the Vostok (East) and Sever (North) tactical groups, including positions near Novohryhorivka, Nevelske, Kamenka, Vodyane, Lebedynske, Svitlodarsk, Luhanske, Novoluhanske, Krymske, Yuzhne, Novotoshkivske, and Troitske, the JFO press center said.
