MOSCOW. Nov 5 (Interfax) - Moscow has accused Kyiv of deliberately hindering the implementation of the Minsk Agreements.
Contrary to the agreements reached at a meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) on October 29, Kyiv has disrupted the resumption of the process of the disengagement of forces and hardware in Petrivske, Russia's envoy to the TCG, Boris Gryzlov, told journalists.
"The process was supposed to begin today. But the Kyiv did not start the disengagement process, although the representatives of the other side, Donetsk representatives signaled their readiness to begin the withdrawal of forces. We are once again convinced that the main reason why the Minsk process is stalling is the stance of Kyiv," he said.
On Monday, the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) tried to perform the disengagement of forces in Petrivske. The militia of the DPR fired a white flare, signaling the readiness for the disengagement on time. But the Ukrainian side did not respond to it.
