Russian Investigative Committee: Kyrgyz migrant who plotted terror attack in Moscow admits guilt

MOSCOW. Nov 5 (Interfax) - A Kyrgyz native who was detained and arrested on suspicion of plotting a terror attack in Moscow has confessed to his crime, spokesperson for the Moscow branch of the Russian Investigative Committee Yulia Ivanova said.

"According to the investigators, in September 2019, the native of the Kyrgyz Republic came to the capital in order to commit a terror attack. Throughout the month, the man sought accomplices, studied literature, watched educational videos, and looked for a place to commit the illegal actions targeting an undefined range of persons," Ivanova said.

"The suspect admitted his guilt under questioning," she said.
