Moscow willing to help Damascus guard camps where ISIS militants held - Foreign Ministry

MOSCOW. Nov 6 (Interfax) - Russia is willing to work together with Syria in guarding the camps where Islamic State [banned in Russia] militants are held, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Vershinin said on Wednesday.

"We are basically working together with the Syrian government to make sure that Syria's sovereignty is restored across the entire national territory," Vershinin said when asked by Interfax whether Russia is willing to help Damascus in addressing the problem.
