MOSCOW. Nov 6 (Interfax) - The Russian Navy's Baltic Fleet training ship Perekop has departed Cambodia and is heading to the port of Yangon (Myanmar) across the Indian Ocean, the fleet's press service stated.
"On the way to the port of Yangon, the Perekop will cross to the Strait of Malacca and sail out into the Andaman Sea. The ship is expected to be in Myanmar on November 13," the statement said.
At the port, the crew will stock up on supplies and take a rest, it said.
The ship, carrying a crew of naval cadets, is on a remote Eurasian deployment. The journey involves navigator training practice.
