External pressure doesn't hinder Russia-India military-technical cooperation, in particular, on S-400 contract - Borisov

MOSCOW. Nov 7 (Interfax) - Russia and India are enhancing successful military-technical cooperation, in particular, concerning S-400 air defense missile systems, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Yury Borisov said.

"In spite of the external pressure Russia and India are successfully implementing joint plans for military-technical cooperation, in particular, for the delivery of S-400 air defense missile systems and others," Borisov said at a meeting with Indian Defense Minister Rajnath Singh in Moscow on Wednesday.

"We are working on the approval of the program of Russian-Indian military-technical cooperation through 2030," Borisov is quoted by the Russian government's website as saying.

The fulfilment of the contract for the supply of five S-400 regiment sets to India is to begin after 2020, Interfax reported.
