Ukrainian army shells disengagement area in Petrivske - DPR

DONETSK. Nov 8 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian Armed Forces fired grenade launchers and small arms on the disengagement sector in Petrivske, a representative of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) to the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC) told reporters on Thursday.

"Fire was opened from Bohdanivka on Petrivske at 10:10 p.m. [on Thursday]. A grenade launcher was fired twice. Small arms were also used," he said.

Ukrainian Interior Minister Arsen Avakov said on Thursday that the disengagement in Petrivske would start at midday on November 8 if there were no shelling incidents.
