Three militiamen, one Ukrainian soldier killed in Donbas in past 24 hours

DONETSK/KYIV. Nov 8 (Interfax) - Attacks launched by the Ukrainian Armed Forces have killed three militiamen in the past 24 hours, spokesman for the militia of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) Eduard Basurin said at a press briefing.

"Three militia servicemen sustained fatal wounds as a result of enemy attacks," Basurin said, accusing Ukrainian forces of committing 16 truce violations in the past day.

The press center of the headquarters of Kyiv's Joint Forces Operation (JFO), for its part, said on Facebook on Friday morning that the militia had mounted 20 attacks on Ukrainian positions over the course of the past day, killing one Ukrainian serviceman and wounding another four. Ukrainian positions have come under fire on one occasion today, the press center said.
