MOSCOW. Nov 8 (Interfax) - Russia does not want the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) to collapse since there is no replacement for it, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said at a press conference in Moscow on Friday.
"We wouldn't like a process for dismantling the elements of the JCPOA to be launched that could eventually lead to a total collapse of the agreement," Ryabkov said.
"We are not certain that some replacement for the JCPOA could be worked out within a historically short period, especially as we've been hearing from some capitals that there are plans to draw up a far broader agreement that would cover not only nuclear elements," he said, adding that this is an extremely difficult task.
