MOSCOW. Nov 11 (Interfax) - The Russian military police continue to patrol the Syrian province of Aleppo, head of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides in Syria Maj. Gen. Yury Borenkov said at a press briefing on Sunday.
"Russian military police continue to patrol the Ajami - Avsharia and Ajami - Manbij in the Aleppo province," Borenkov said.
He reported the ongoing ceasefire violations by illegal armed units in the Idlib de-escalation area.
"Twenty-six attacks were observed over the day. Fighters of illegal armed units launched attacks on Aleppo, Sabikiyah, Benyamin, Kafer Hamra, and Halasa in the Aleppo province, Kalaz-Tahtani, Quljok, Ayn al-Qantara, Mamuhiya, Kermel, and Nahshebba in the Latakia province, Khan Sheikhun, Dreiba, al-Salihiyah, and al-Hiara in the Idlib province, and Dar-Hardata, Kara-Djurn, al-Areimi, and al-Djeid in the Hama province,"Borenkov said.
The Russian Center for Reconciliation called on commanders of illegal armed units to stop armed provocations and to take the path of peaceful reconciliation in the areas under their control.
