HMEIMIM. Nov 12 (Interfax) - The Russian military police are continuing patrols in Syria, head of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides in Syria Maj. Gen. Yury Borenkov said at a press briefing on Monday.
"The provisions of the Russian-Turkish memorandum on mutual understanding signed on October 22 continue to be implemented through Russia's efforts. A joint Russian-Turkish patrol on November 11 followed the Sheyrek-Tawrat-Gir Batli route in the Al Hasakah province. Russian military police units are also continuing to patrol along the Kobani-Marwah and Ain Isa-Jisr Shannina routes in the Al Hasakah province and the Ajami-Awshariyah and Ajami-Membij routes in the Aleppo province," he said.
"Illegal armed formations are continuing to breach the truce in the Idlib de-escalation area. Thirty-three such attacks were observed in the past day," Borenkov said.
