MOSCOW. Nov 12 (Interfax) - No specific date for a Normandy Four summit has been set as of yet, but intense work is under way at the level of aides to the leaders of Russia, Ukraine, Germany, and France, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.
"There are no dates," Peskov said on Tuesday in reply to reporters' question of whether possible dates for a summit in the Normandy format have been determined.
Steps are now being taken to lay the groundwork for a meeting of the Normandy Four leaders, he said.
"There is an understanding, which was reached during the work of the [Trilateral] Contact Group in Minsk. In addition, there is a whole range of obligations assumed by the Ukrainian side. Work is under way at the level of aides to the presidents of these four countries, too, who are also drafting possible decisions and coordinated positions based on the results of such a possible meeting. However, this work is not being publicized," Peskov said.
