Kyiv says all obstacles to Normandy-format meeting removed

KYIV. Nov 12 (Interfax) - All obstacles in the way of another Normandy Four (Ukraine, Germany, France, and Russia) meeting were removed during the latest Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) meeting in Minsk, the spokesperson for Ukraine's envoy to the TCG Leonid Kuchma, Darka Olifer, said.

"All obstacles in the way of a top level meeting in the Normandy format, specifically, the disengagement of forces near Zolote, Petrivske, and Stanytsia Luhanska, which was the final step in this direction, were removed at the Trilateral Contact Group meeting today," Olifer wrote on Facebook on Tuesday.

"A prompt meeting of the Normandy Four leaders will speed up the solving of all remaining issues regarding settlement of the conflict," Olifer said.
