Federal Penitentiary Service's Rostov directorate chief arrested in case of disclosing state secret

ROSTOV-ON-DON. Nov 14 (Interfax) - The Leninsky District Court of Rostov-on-Don has imposed the measure of restraint in the form of arrest on the chief of the Federal Penitentiary Service's (FSIN) main directorate for the Rostov region, Muslim Dakhkhayev, suspected of disclosing a state secret, a judge told journalists.

"He has been placed in custody," the judge said.

FSIN Deputy Director Valery Maksimenko told Interfax on Wednesday that Dakhkhayev and hid deputies were detained on suspicion of disclosing a state secret.

An informed source told Interfax earlier that the searches had been conducted at the offices of Dakhkhayev and his two deputies as part of an investigation into a bribery case.
