MOSCOW. Nov 22 (Interfax) - The Russian Strategic Missile Forces (RVSN) have carried out four launches in 2019, RVSN Commander Sergei Karakayev said.
Special attention was paid to the tests of prospective systems during combat exercises, Karakayev said.
"Priority attention is given to re-equipment of the RVSN group and the development and tests of prospective missile systems," Karakayev said at a meeting of the RVSN military board.
"Four launches have been conducted this year, including a combat training launch of a Yars system during the command post exercise Thunder 2019, which confirmed the high reliability and stability of the missile system's combat and operational characteristics," he said.
