MOSCOW. Nov 26 (Interfax) - Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu will attend a joint meeting of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO)'s councils of foreign ministers, defense ministers, and security council secretaries in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, on November 27-28, the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.
"Participants in the joint meeting will exchange views on topical aspects of the provision of security and stability inside and outside the CSTO's zone of responsibility," the statement, which was published on the ministry's website, said.
They will address "coordinated efforts in the field of the military policy, military development, and military-technical cooperation," the statement said.
CSTO press secretary Vladimir Zainetdinov told the press earlier that a session of the CSTO Collective Security Council and a joint meeting of the CSTO councils of defense ministers, foreign ministers, and security council secretaries will be held in Bishkek on November 27-28.
