Toilet breaks down in U.S. segment of ISS - Roscosmos

MOSCOW. Nov 27 (Interfax) - U.S. astronauts are fixing the toilet in their segment of the International Space Station (ISS), the Roscosmos press service told Interfax in a statement.

"The toilet of the U.S. segment of the ISS broke down last night. It is being fixed," the statement said.

The toilet is functional in the ISS' Russian segment, it said.

The media reported earlier that the toilet had broken down in the U.S. segment of the ISS and that in the Russian segment the toilet's waste container was filled to capacity, which forced the crew to wear diapers.
