MOSCOW. Dec 2 (Interfax) - The Russian Airborne Troops will take part in over 50 international events in the new training year, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Monday.
Among these are the command post exercise Interaction 2020 of the Collective Security Treaty Organization's Collective Rapid Reaction Force and the joint tactical exercises Slavic Brotherhood 2020 and Defenders of Friendship 2020, the ministry said in a statement obtained by Interfax.
This year the Airborne Troops have received about 200 armored vehicles and more than 200 various motor vehicles including special armored vehicles, military snowmobiles, quad bikes and all-terrain vehicles, the statement said.
