KYIV. Dec 3 (Interfax) - Ukrainian Interior Minister Arsen Avakov has reported plans to hold a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) on Tuesday.
"The president [Volodymyr Zelensky] is convening a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council as part of preparations for the Normandy-format summit," Avakov said at the 2nd annual conference of the Ukrainian Association of Women in Law Enforcement in Kyiv on Tuesday morning.
He also said at a meeting with U.S. Charge d'Affaires a.i. William Taylor was being prepared. "We will meet with Ambassador Taylor today," Avakov said.
As reported earlier, the leaders of Normandy-format member states - Germany, Russia, Ukraine, and France - will gather together in Paris on December 9.
