MOSCOW. Dec 3 (Interfax) - Ships of the Russian Baltic Fleets are preparing for maneuvers at sea, the fleet's press service said.
"The exercise includes all of the Baltic Fleet's ships: the crews of the squadron torpedo ship Nastoichivy, the corvettes Steregushchy, Stoiky, Boiky, and Soobrazitelny, small missile ships and motorboats, large landing ships, small anti-submarine ships and mine sweepers of different classes, patrol and counter-terror boats - in all, more than 60 ships and support vessels," it said.
The maneuvers will include counter-terrorism training and drills to practice ship-damage control at anchor, it said.
"Upon completion of this training and after passing the K-1 test, the ships of the Baltic Fleet will head to the fleet's sea training ranges to conduct maneuvers with the use of the ships' weapons in a changing tactical environment," the press service said.
