Kyiv names captive swap, complete ceasefire, Donbas election procedure as key items on Normandy-format summit's agenda

KYIV. Dec 5 (Interfax) - Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) Secretary Oleksiy Danilov has said he hopes to solve at least some of the main problems at the Normandy-format summit.

"First of all, we will exchange all-for-all captives, will cease fire in every sector of the frontline, and will find a way to hold the elections," the NSDC press service quoted Danilov as saying.

It will be possible to hold elections in the areas of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions uncontrolled by Kyiv only after they are completely liberated, consistent with Ukrainian laws, and in the presence of domestic and foreign observers, Danilov said.

The Normandy-format summit will take place in Paris on December 9.
