Kurdish-Syrian dialogue is complicated issue, but some common ground can be found - Russian diplomat

NUR-SULTAN. Dec 10 (Interfax) - Despite all complexities of the Kurdish-Syrian negotiations, some common ground can be found and has been found, Russian special presidential representative for Syria Alexander Lavrentyev said.

"The Kurdish-Syrian dialogue is a complicated issue. It is moving ahead, and a lot of nuances are involved in this negotiating process, speaking of which would be premature. And yet some common ground has been found, and it would be good to develop this so as to approach good agreements," Lavrentyev told journalists.

It would also be important to reach agreement on "some integration of Syrian democratic forces into the Syrian Arab Army," he said.
