NSDC secretary's advisor on Normandy Four summit results: Dialogue most important, we follow correct path of reconciliation, unity

KYIV. Dec 10 (Interfax) - The most important result of the Normandy Four summit is the resumption of dialogue, the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) secretary's advisor for reintegration and restoration of the 'Donbas occupied territories' Serhiy Syvokho said.

"This was the first meeting in this format for the last three years! The Normandy Four summit lasted more than eight hours. Yesterday was a difficult and exciting day for the president and for the whole of Ukraine. Yes, we all want more! We want peace already today. However, let's talk about the real situation: reciprocal disengagement of the troops in three sectors by late March 2020; the extension of special status for Donbas; the 'all-for-all' prisoner swap by December 31, 2019," Syvokho wrote on Facebook on Tuesday.

"The most important thing is dialogue! And it's happening. Yesterday, we managed to agree on concrete steps and concrete time frames. We're on the correct path, the path of reconciliation and unity! And we will definitely reach peace," he said.
