All speculation about Russia meddling in U.S. affairs unfounded - Lavrov

WASHINGTON. Dec 11 (Interfax) - Any allegations of Russian interference in the domestic affairs of the United States are baseless accusations, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.

"We understand that our collaborative efforts have been and continue to be impeded by the wave of suspicion concerning Russia which has literally hit Washington. Today we have reiterated that all speculation concerning our perceived interference in the internal processes of the U.S. is unfounded; we have never seen and no one has shown us any evidence to confirm this, so it probably, simply does not exist," Lavrov said after meeting with Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.
