Russia favors U.S.-N.Korea direct dialogue resumption - Lavrov

WASHINGTON. Dec 11 (Interfax) - Washington and Pyongyang should resume a direct dialogue based on mutual concessions, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.

"We believe that this political process should be supported and the direct dialogue between the United States and Pyongyang is key. We are calling for its resumption and we are certain that this dialogue will only prove productive if it evolves on the basis of mutual concessions," Lavrov said after talks with U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.
