MOSCOW. Dec 13 (Interfax) - A contract serviceman of Russia's Northern Fleet has died in fighting a fire on board the Admiral Kuznetsov aircraft carrier, and another missing officer is being searched for, the Northern Fleet press service said.
"A Northern Fleet serviceman died in eliminating a source of smoke. The search for an officer of the ship's damage control service is ongoing," the press service said.
An informed source told Interfax earlier that rescuers had discovered the body of a missing serviceman.
"One of those missing was discovered with no vital signs," the source said.
