Minsk Agreements stipulate decentralization amendments to Ukrainian Constitution, Kyiv fulfilling this obligation - Zelensky

KYIV. Dec 13 (Interfax) - The Minsk Agreements stipulate decentralization amendments to the Ukrainian Constitution, and this is what Kyiv is doing across the country, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said in the Pravo na Vladu program aired by the television channel 1+1 on Thursday night.

"The Minsk Agreements clearly say that amendments to the Ukrainian Constitution cover everything related to decentralization. We are drafting a package of decentralization bills, and you know that this is being done throughout Ukraine. So, I think we are fulfilling our obligations. True, the wording is a bit different, but I think that it generally fits," Zelensky said.

He said he has managed to convince Germany and France that this is so. "As for Russia, this will be difficult. Everyone has seen that. Things are going to be very complicated in this area," Zelensky said.
