LUHANSK/KYIV. Dec 13 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian army has mounted five attacks on the self-proclaimed Luhansk People's Republic (LPR) over the past week, LPR militia spokesman Yakov Osadchy said on Friday.
"The Ukrainian army has breached the truce five times over the course of the week," Osadchy said.
He said the Ukrainian army had attacked the vicinity of Lohvynove and Nizhne Lozove using 120 mm and 82 mm mortars, weapons of infantry combat vehicles, and various types of grenade launchers.
"All the attacks were registered, and related materials were submitted to representatives of international organizations stationed in the republic and the LPR Prosecutor General's Office for inclusion in the criminal inquiry into commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' 59th brigade Shapovalov," Osadchy said.
Kyiv, for its part, reported an attack on positions of the Joint Forces, which happened on Friday.
"Our positions near Mariinka came under attack from man-portable anti-tank and under-barrel grenade launchers and small arms. [...] There have been no military casualties caused by attacks today," it said.
