YEREVAN. Dec 26 (Interfax) - Armenia considers the threat of armed conflict in Karabakh to be real, considering that no political solution has been found; there is also a threat posed by Turkey over the issue of Armenian genocide, Armenian General Staff Chief Artak Davtyan said on Thursday.
"The threat of war persists. It always does. As long as there is no political solution to the Karabakh problem, we believe that the threat of war is high and real. Besides Karabakh, there is yet another threat related to our strategic enemy, Turkey, considering that the Armenian genocide has still not been recognized," Davtyan said at a press conference in Yerevan.
